Casa Verde Cottage

Casa Verde is a small cottage house located on the Property of Cafe Mariposa and the Mariposa Apartment. This small house offers a kitchenette with an apartment sized stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker and sufficient utensils for cooking at home, bathroom with hot water, and a open bedroom and sitting area. There is a large outdoor seating area on top of the cistern and a nice place to dry your clothes. The yard is full of lush plants and flowers and you can view the sea from the porch.

Hot shower, cable television, access to private dock. On same property as the famous Cafe Mariposa.

Location:

From Utila Municipal Dock, turn right along the main street and walk for approximately 2 minutes down towards The Point. The entrance to the house is next to Banco Atlantida. Casa Verde is centrally located to everything so there is no need to rent a bicycle. If you have a bike we have a bike rack to lock it to. Our private dock is a great place to kick back and read a book, take in the sun, go for a dip, and watch incredible sunsets. Casa Verde is steps away from Cafe Mariposa where you will find fine dining. The yard is private and has an array of trees and foliage for your enjoyment.
