Coral View Beach Resort is located in the beautiful Sandy Bay. We are far enough away from town and the tourist crowds to really get some piece and quiet BUT not too far away so that you can have a casual 15-20 minute walk alongside the ocean to reach the town center.

The Resort is right on the ocean and overlooks a beautiful coral reef and is very safe, comfortable and relaxing. It was built in 2002 and is locally owned by a lovely Utilian family that have lived on the island all their lives. Word is that the lovely nature of the owners is the reason that guests are returning year after year.

The Resort features 18 beautiful rooms including a Penthouse that has its own private deck with 270’ unrestricted views. Each room consists of polished wooden floors, air conditioning, fans, private bathrooms and hot and cold water. Direct TV is available in some rooms upon request. Wireless Internet is also available throughout the Resort. We have a restaurant where we serve delicious seafood meals. We also have a Conference Center with ocean views that can seat 40 people and can be equipped with a computer and projector screen upon request.

We have our own spacious bar overlooking the pristine coral reef and above the bar is an observation deck from which you can see a variety of tropical fish, even dolphins at times! It is also a great place to get a tan and watch the sun rise and set. We also have another observation deck which overlooks a lagoon which is situated in our Marina. We must not forget our large in-ground Saltwater Pool that sits right beside the ocean, the only of its kind in Utila.

Our Marina comprises of 4 Boats which service our PADI Dive Center. We invite you to explore our PADI Dive Center and check out the amazing scuba diving courses we have on offer. We also have fishing equipment available and can offer you some great fishing trips if this is what your passion is whilst on the island. Also, we can provide you with trips to the Water Cays if you feel like just lazing around a very secluded and tropical island for the day. We also regularly run Whale Shark Safari’s for those seeking that big thrill of snorkeling with a Whale Shark!

We offer the best snorkeling on the Island and you don’t even need to leave the Resort! We also run night snorkeling every night at 6.30pm where we regularly see octopus, spiny lobster and long spine sea urchins plus we try and make our own fireworks show from the bioluminesance which is very cool to see. Snorkeling gear is available from our PADI Dive Center.
