Cafe Mariposa is an open-air restaurant and bar with an unmatched view of the Caribbean and Utila's entire harbor. We offer a unique dining experience in a relaxing atmosphere, and our menu features a variety of salads, appetizers, seafood, coffee, cocktails and imported wines.

We offer you the freshest food available on the island driven by our chef?s inspiration and intuition. Our daily specials are listed on the chalkboard at our entrance as well as in the caf? so you can have a new dish every time you come to see us.

We specialize in serving meals that come from locally-produced meats, poultry and seafood, as well as local produce from the islands. With our own wood-burning brick oven, we can offer bread, rolls, pastries and pizzas that you will not find anywhere else on the island.

From Utila Municipal Dock, turn right into the main street and walk for ~200 meters until you get to Banco Atlantida. Our entrance is through the archway and toward the waterfront. If you arrive by water, you may tie up your dinghy to our dock while you dine with us.
