The Purple Pelican at Pine Point

The Purple Pelican Grill is a water access only restaurant located at Pine Point on the far west end of Utila about 1-1/2 miles west of Diamond cay. We are open from 9AM till 4PM daily except Tuesday. We offer a variety of burgers, fish and chicken fillet sandwiches, fish tacos, and shrimp dinners. Most meals will cost around $5.00 USD. We also have a variety of soft drinks, and local beers at reasonable prices.

In addition to the restaurant we have a beautiful beach area with hammocks, and beach lounge chairs for just kicking back and enjoying the ocean. We also have a shaded beach table where your group can have there lunch. The restaurant sets over the ocean with wonderful views of the surrounding cays and the mountains of the mainland. We have clean modern bathrooms and a freshwater beach shower.

To get there you will have to bring your boat, hire a water taxi, or just have your dive boat stop by after your dives. We are on VHF channel 23 and can have your food order ready when you arrive if you call in advance.
