Tropical Island Property This home, built in 2005, is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful homes on Utila. The three story beach home boasts spectacular views of Paradise Cove, Roatan, Cayos Cochinas and the beautiful mountains above La Ceiba. The main floor at 2400 sq ft has two master suites, expansive kitchen and dinning area adjoining the great-room overlooking the sea. The third floor at 400 sq ft hosts an office and the outside "Jacuzzi" deck. The first floor contains a one bedroom and a one bath guest apartment totaling 400 sq ft, and a large 200 sq ft bodega. There is a 400sqft veranda on the ocean side of the house and a 250sqft veranda on the west side to provide comfortable outdoor relaxation regardless of sun or wind direction. The walk-around catwalk permits easy access from front to back of the house. There are three stairwells; the front entrance, rear decent to the beach and an indoor staircase into the bodega on the ground floor. The auto and video security systems are visibly present and complemented by the automatic gate opener providing ease of mind from intruders. To cope with bugs there is a bug spray system built around the house to minimize the bug population. All in all this home was built with beauty, comfort and style in mind. With the exception of wood, concrete and block the home was built almost entirely with US products. All electrical, plumbing, paint, insulation etc. are of the finest US materials. The house was built to Florida hurricane specifications with all windows and doors rated for a minimum of 140mph winds. Extreme care was made to insure the strength and integrity of the structure. Included amenities are GE Profile Appliances, tiled floors throughout, 17kW back-up generator, two 14,000 gal Cisterns, beautifully landscaped courtyard, Kohler bath and kitchen fixtures and beautiful hardwood accents, both Redondo and Malapalan. |

Location: |
Located on Utila's Paradise Cove in the exclusive Tradewind Properties sub-division there is no better place to have your home. A five minute drive gets you to town in a hurry and yet the "Cove" is quiet and peaceful, away from town and no boats are required. Sealife in the Cove is extensive and varies from fish to octopus to sea eels all making the 30 second walk into the water worthwhile. Only 60' from the waters edge the cove becomes your own private swimming pool! This community's CC&Rs guarantee an upscale community with no fear of commercial enterprises or less than standard housing. All of the homes are tasteful and carefully cared for. |
