Nuestra Seňora del Carmen

Constructed in 2000, Our Lady of Carmen, is Utila's only Catholic Church. While the Church holds regular services, there is currently no regular priest or sister to conduct the services (although occasionally a priest or sister will visit from the mainland or the nearby island of Roatan. All services are held in Spanish and everybody is welcome regardless of denomination or religious affiliation.

La iglesia catolica fue fundado en al aňo 200 siendo los fundadores el padre faro procedente di Espaňa. Mister Johnny Bodden uy Sra Bodden y Mister Brussard. La iglecia catolica cuenta con amplio salón y un bello arbol frutal tambien con una casa pequeňa al lado propiedad de la iglecia, la iglecia catolica cuenta con la ayuda de sus fieles ya que el pueblo catolico aun es muy pequeňo todovia.

Location:

From the Municipal Dock, turn left into the main street, walk for about 8-10 minutes to the Utila Fire Station and then turn right into Mame Lane. Walk up the hill towards Country Side. The Catholic Church is on the right side of the road, just after the Adventist School.
