The AboutUtila.com web site is in the process of being upgraded. As such, you will still find some pages formatted with the older layout. These pages show the 'old' logo.

Since I work on this web site in my "spare" time, it may take me some months to get the entire site re-formatted to the new layout. These pages show the 'new' logo.

When the web site was initially launched in late November 2004, I had no idea how large it would grow. Now in November 2005, the entire web site has grown to over 300 pages and continues to grow as more information is added to it.

As the site size increases, I have, hopefully, improved site navigation with the addition of "drop-down" menus, improved page layout support for the major browsers (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari), and although it is not visible to web site visitors, maintenance "behind the scenes" is also much easier through increased use of CSS coding, enabling the site to be more rapidly changed and updated.

The grow in the number of web site pages has been matched by a grow in visitor traffic, such that (as at November 2005) the web site receives over 2,500 visitors per day. Such traffic grow has necessitated an increase in Web Server capacity and in order to pay for this the WebMaster has decided to experiment with adding relevant advertising to the web site to help offset the increasing costs of maintaining and supporting the site.

I do not pretend to be a graphic artist, but I have done my best to try and improve the site's visual appeal, hopefully reflecting a more tropical island theme. Regardless, by re-engineering the web site, it is much easier for me to implement new re-layouts, if and when necessary.

It will take me some time to work through each and every web site page, upgrading them to this latest revision. It is for that reason I have added this page to explain to web site visitors, why some pages are so visually different from others.

I hope you find this site useful.
